Welcome to MediaBuyer’s very first blog! We couldn’t think of a better way to start off our blog series than to celebrate the value of print advertising and its continued growth.  As we head towards the end of 2013, print continues to play a key role in delivering marketer’s messages to the right audiences at the right times.  In Ad Age’s “2013 Magazine’s A-list” article, seven out of its ten winners boasted print gains.  One of the winners, Eating Well, has seen a 52% increase in ad pages so far this year!

A great print ad has unique qualities that only work in print.  In addition, it needs to be:

  • Creative
  • Captivating
  • Eye-catching
  • Clever
  • Executed Strategically
  • Placed appropriately
